PLEASE SHARE: Boycott Rock Run? THE REAL STORY (aka the TRUTH) There’s a local person running for public office, guy by the name of Jerry Carnicella, who is intent that Rock Run is privately owned, and the board of directors are rolling in millions of dollars being made off the park. That is blatantly FALSE. Rock Run is a non-profit organization which you can look up on the IRS website for your own proof. The Board of Directors take no pay from the park and all volunteer. All the proceeds of Rock Run pay our staff and are re-invested back into the park. This want to be politician has some personal vendetta with our Board President for reasons unbeknownst and is out spreading lies about us and other local organizations. We’ve tried reaching out, but he won’t return our phone calls. Yes, our Board President is a former State Representative, who 20 odd years ago along with a few others had the vision to create Rock Run. Working within the confines of the state regulations at that time, Rock Run was born to provide a safe and legal riding opportunity for families. We continue to grow and fully support the efforts to expand riding opportunities in Pennsylvania. We won’t apologize for applying for grants that are available to anyone in order to develop a first-class facility. Yes, we charge a nominal entrance fee. It costs money to pay staff, maintain buildings, 350+ campsites, 6,500 acres and almost 150 miles of trail. For someone who is running for public office to encourage people to boycott a non-profit organization that brings thousands of visitors and their dollars to our area a year is just unbelievable. Ask the local business if they appreciate you, the out-of-town visitor when you are at their stores for meals, groceries, fuel and other items. We think they’ll say yes. Please know that we appreciate you! And we also know many of you see through this political stunt, but the time has come for us to make an official statement now that he is out posting signs in the area. Please share this post and get the “TRUTH” out there for us.
Hey Clark, Wally World is closed but our bath house is open. Shower tokens are available at the Welcome Center.

1. We are behind on emails and messages. If you reached out to cancel for some reason, we will take care of it even after the fact. Thanks for your understanding.
2. How to book your ride after you bought your tickets? No need for now, just show up.
3. Waivers- everyone will need to physically sign a waiver in the office for now.
